What Dolphin will it be and what excuse will they give as to why the Packers had an unfair advantage to closing in on running the table? Will it be the cold weather playoff games at Lambeau they say work in the Packers favor? My guess is that it will be Mercury Morris pissing, whining and moaning.Maybe Nick bounicatti?Who are the usual suspects from the past who whined when the Patriots had a chance to obtain a perfect record.

If the Packers do run the table, will they hold the record over the Dolphins being that it's a longer season now than in 72?

Miami will always be the first team to ever do it. That title is theirs forever.

would it be great if they lost in the super bowl like New England did a few years ago? Maybe to New England.

The Dolphins were undefeated and still played the AFC Championship Game in Pittsburgh!
At the time, the championship games for the conferences were rotated amongst the divisions, regardless of which team had the better record

Okay this is a good question. I was born in 71 but I have a good answer (or 3 of them)

Mercury Morris, Bob Griese (who I actually saw play), or Nick Buoniconti------if they go undefeated

The 2007 Patriots were 18-0 before the Superbowl game...

They ended their season 18-1 after losing to the Giants

yea but if the giants were to beat the packers ... like the previous poster said...

they would be at best 17-1.. or 16-1.

the only way packers go 18-1 is if an afc team beats them

Yes but GB & the Giants are both in the NFC so GB won't be 18-0 if they lose to the Giants
