I have gathered 4 over the years.

Only reason why I have them is because I don't like carrying lots of money around and i get points for using them which i use for free flights to vegas.

I have 1 credit card but I'm looking for a new one. They keep reup'n me as a year to year rate. While most people are happy with 8.99% I'm not.

                                            Not now.

But, until recently you could get new cards with 0% for a year on balance transfers. Apply for 10 cards at 20k each, put em in a 5% savings account, make $10,000, pay off cards at end of the year. Repeat.

They required no payment on the balance for a year? Wow, sweet deal.

You have to make minimum payments, but 0% APR. Pay the minimum out the account at 5%. It reduces your return, but only slightly.

You can probably still find some 0% for a year cards, if your credit is good enough, but most deals are 2-3% and most savings accounts are only paying 2-3%, which even at 0% really isn't worth it.
