huge mistake taking the backup role at USC

guy was a freshman at Arkansas and won 8 in a row for them, and then went to not playing at all??

Should have gone somewhere where they would have guaranteed he'd start, he could have easily found a decent program that would have done that

i love college football and follow recruiting pretty heavily too....anybody that does would remember mustain....he was a big deal....and damian williams followed mustain to usc...williams is having a decent career in tennessee....mustain couldnt even beat out aaron corp at usc......

im actually really suprised malzahn couldnt have landed a better gig than arkansas st....i think hes one of the best offensive minds in the game at the collegiate level.....some guys are just that...good offensive coordinators...so the jury will be out on whether or not hes cut out to be a head coach....but on potential alone i thought a bigger, better, offer would have come in for gus

They have been talking about Malzahn on local radio here in Gainesville today. He was offered the Vanderbilt job last year at about 3 million a year and turned it down. Now he takes Arkansas St at less than half of what he makes at Auburn.

Naturally the local speculation is that something really bad is about to happen at Auburn. Speculation is just that but it does make you scratch your head a little.

It was laughable how the NCAA turned a blind eye toward Aub & the Newton investigation considering how the NCAA dealt with Ohio State during the same time

theres been talk of impending doom at auburn for well over a year now....so we shall see....youd have to think malzahn would have had some idea, if this were true, when he was offered the vandy job

not familiar with arkansas...and where st is located...must be closer to springdale....and an easy way out for malzhan right now.....but i figured hed have some big offers out there...guy is good
