BTP Championship: Will Sportsfun hold on?

Hey Lou,

Again, thanks for the contest! Would it be possible to give us a top 20 of SBR Pros who are qualified to receive year end prizes? I only have 4 people in the overall top 10 that qualify as far as I can see. It would help alot in the decision making process.

I haven't ruled out making a run at Sportsfun, but I think my 1-3 performance 2 weeks ago pretty much killed it for me. I think I'm in 2nd right now, but it would be nice to confirm the standings as I see them.

What happens to those top 10 finishers that aren't SBR pro's? Do they qualify for a cash prize? What about the other top 10 what happens to the rest of the prize pool is it split amongst them?

I would bet sportsfun to place in this spot. Their will be plenty of heart beats this weekend for all the players. Advice as I've placed in this contest before. Act last if possible, play to win. G.L. one and all.

I hit 66% and I haven't hit the top20. I forgot about the contest a couple weeks and only submitted a few picks those weeks. Still Id like to know where I placed among the sbr pros in this contest.

Non Pros don't qualify for a cash prize. They get removed from the final standings and everyone gets bumped up.

When I checked some names of contenders, I had Presley177 as a non-Pro.
That's because I happened to see in week 10 he didn't get the double points.

I see he is a Pro now. But according to the rules one had to Become a Pro by the 4th week ---Oct 2.

Checking his point history, we see he became a Pro on 11/22 and looking back further, it wasn't a renewal/grace period thing.

He should not be eligible. Sorry Presley, but as a contender I have to blow the whistle.

Correct, he was multiple weeks late. The contest is still running - once it's finally over, we'll be posting an official moneyboard after all users have been vetted for their eligibility.

Sorry you think it's classless. Forgive me for not reading the comments on the BTP main page.

Too bad you didn't see this thread before I noticed your name among the top 5 pros in the top post. You could have said you weren't eligible here in this thread and saved me the trouble of asking for a correction to the list. I thought it was important for all contenders to see exactly where they stood with respect to the top 5 list that Lou posted -- and which has since been corrected.

agree with you presley, and not just because elvis is my favorite singer/actor of all time.
i never liked a tattletale, maybe if he was right behind you for $2500 it might make sense, and even then it should be handled with a pm to lou.
