A couple of years ago that was a highlight reel hit and everybody would cheer.
NFL Rules:
"When a passer is outside the pocket area, he is still afforded the protection of Rule 12, Section 2, Article 13 (3), which prohibits defensive players from using their helmet against a passer. If the passer stops behind the line and clearly establishes a passing posture, he will then be covered by all of the special protections for passers.
When did mccoy stop?

Oh wait he never did.
A one game suspension is ridiculous this is football fine Harrison all you want if that's what you want to do because he's stated multiple times he doesn't care. It's not Harrison's fault McCoy came back in the game and continued to play like an idiot I think Roger felt he had to give the suspension after McCoy's daddy came to his rescue.

it's no longer coincidence or just bad luck, he has done this far too many times.. if this were 30 years ago, he would have been carted off the field because by the end of the game one of the lineman would have dove at his knees.Comment -
I agree Harrison is a dirty player and has this coming to him, but in general the way the NFL is protecting players is getting out of control. As a LB or SS you have to change the way you were taught to play the game. If you lay some one out coming across the middle 90% of the time the zebras are going to throw a flag and the receiver will get 15 yards and a first down and that can completely change a game and that is complete bullsh!t.Comment -
