surprised no one's mentioned these 2.

1- Field of Dreams.. when he pitched around with his dad..

2- It's a Wonderful Life.. when he got his life back and when everyone pitched in at the end and helped him.. (final scene)

i'm sure there are a bunch more, just can't think of any right now.

The one scene that got me was when DeNiro's relapsing, and Williams is filming him but gets frustrated and turns the camera off. DeNiro's character demands he turn the camera back on despite his hideous state and tells him to learn from it.

Willie it sounds like the 2 of us should get together and drink some wine spritzers and hold hands while we watch Awakenings.

My Life is a 1993 film starring Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman and directed by Bruce Joel Rubin.

                  Summary

Successful executive Bob Jones (Keaton) and his wife Gail (Kidman) attempt to cope with his terminal illness by videotaping his life for his child, which is still in utero. With the help of a Chinese healer, (Haing S. Ngor), Bob learns the value of forgiveness as he reconciles with the family he has tried to forget and finds peace in his final days.

sounds a lot like what the Randy Pausch film will inevitably be like

Yeah, sure. I'm too old to worry with being insecure about my sexuality. But only if Robyn and Mrs. Bee are holding hands as well. Otherwise, the deal's off.

The end of one flew over the cuckoo's nest when they bring Mcmurphy back
and chief goes to his bedside to find out he's braindead, then smothers him
                                  with the pillow.
