You guys just need to find women who enjoy watching sports with you...or understand why you do it (for money or for the rush). If you hide it from her at first, you can NOT expect her to understand it once she finds out. Your best bet is to be open and honest about it up front. If she doesn't like it, she is not the one for you.

I never understood why anyone would hide it from their girlfriend. I have always been open about it. I could care less what they think about it, it is me they are into not if I bet or not. I have found the best girl in the world and she knows I bet and it doesn't bother her and why should it? I include her in everything, we go out do things, travel etc etc... gambling on games is a part of my life and my time with her and doing things doesn't suffer.

Exactly! It has to do with being honest with the person that you're with and not having to choose between a woman and something that you enjoy doing.

If the roles were reversed and a woman was hiding something from a man like a shopping addiction (it's real), the guy would be very upset that she was hiding it from him and wondering where all the money went.

The difference is many of us don't own a business, or have the means to keep our women happy round the clock. So I think that's what causes a riff for many couples as it relates to gambling.

Me and my hubby have talked bout this alot. I was always raised with gambling being bad. It was hard to learn how much my husband gambled specially after being married when I knew exactly how much it was. I helped him become a better gambler and more of a money management that he didnt have before he met me. He showed me to have fun doing it as well. We both help each other and when either one of us is down the other is always there to support. It was really hard to accept how much my hubby gambled but communicating and coming to an agreement with him helped both of use. If someone truly loves you they will never stop you from completely leaving something you really enjoy.

I've attracted more women into my life being a downright asshole, than Mr. nice guy. Women are interesting like that, know what I mean?
