bottom line is that teaserpleaser is a sympathizer who stereotypes just as much as the other side. can't possibly know about these kids and their backgrounds, family life, etc. yet makes sweeping generalizations about them to make excuses for them. if all their fathers are dead or in jail, fine i can understand why their behavior is fukked up but i wouldn't excuse it. like i said 100's of other guys in college hoops who have those or worse circumstances and dont cause problems.

African American males are violent. Not all, but the %80 that attended public city schools, come from poor families and engage in this destructive black sub-culture are.

This social group inside the black community promotes violence against women, hostility towards academics, and ignorance towards whats they consider is not "COOL".

Higher education is an opportunity for these young men to break free from this toxic existence. Sometimes, letting go of your past can be difficult, unfortunately Colleges are in business to make money and personal growth and mentorship is less important than athletic ability.
