It was figure of speach! I was already up 500 with my bookie so I put 100 on a 4team parlay with Jacksonville on it. But today I hit a 2 team parlay for 100(White Sox Over, and Minny Over), and I put $300 on the Tampa Bucs!

I haven't got a local, never bothered. What bets do they let you make, can you do parlays?

I think it depends on the local, some will let you bet pretty much anything, others you can't do parlays (have one of them) its up to the local pretty much

Ok. Obviously you need to build a relationship with these guys but what sort of limits do they have, I wouldnt see myself betting more than $200 a week, if that.

The local i'm with right now won't let me bet more than $1000 per day, which I wouldn't anyways, although a couple times last year in basketball he let me put up some huge bets when I was chasing like a dumbass, acutally worked out for me. Anyways, his min. is $100 per bet, and max up to $1000 in bets per day, unless I talk to him he's usually pretty good at letting me take a couple extra bets.
