    played basketball all my life...

    they arent hard at all...

yet i see so many college teams its like they never practice them.

exactly why a team like duke, uconn, cuse, will always be at the top

and teams like washington tennessee, street ball teams with no discipline cant hit a free throw

and whats it with big men?

freese from xavier shoots like 33%

nyidgae from washington shoots in the 30%

good Lord hit the ******* gym and learn how to shoot free throws

Taller players miss FT's more often.
Black players miss FT's more often.

    Never going to change.

But you have to remember shooting FT's in a gym is different than shooting in front of a huge crowd during the game.

taller players? like 7 foot tall dirk nowitzki ?

has nothing to do with color or size ... you can either shoot them or you can't.

the international players are usually solid at the line, they probably practice them from the time they are 5 to the nba..

i think wnba... those teams actually practice at the line as they dont have the advance of easy lay ups and dunks like nba does

Some teams have better free throw shooters than other teams

Kids nowadays are not as interested in the fundamentals as they used to be. They are more intrigued by the flashiness of their dunks, and alley-oops.
