Michael Phelps' eight gold medals could be worth eight figures in endorsements and earnings, experts say.

"If he's handled properly over the next four years, he should generate in excess of $40 million," said Marc Ganis, president of Sportscorp Ltd., a Chicago-based sports business consulting firm.

True but it is Bs that compared to other greats 40 mil isnt shit. Boxers can make 40 mil in a blink of an eye. This guy beside maybe Tiger in Golf could be the most dominate in a single sport and isnt making crap to what guys in Football, Basketball, and Baseball make. I dont feel bad for the guy cause he will be well off, but I do feel there needs to be more balance, even though it will never happen. (Main reason no one pays big bucks to go to watch this every week.)
