I took a shot at USA -14½ vs Spain the other day and they easily covered that.

This is considerably more points to lay, albeit against a weaker team than Spain.

I think I'll take the pts and hope for the best.

Problem with big spreads like this is motivation, yeah the US could win by 40+, they could also easily just coast with a 20 pt lead.

It's very difficult to expect a win by so many points.

Once the US gets a sizable lead, there's really no reason for them to run the score up. I can see them resting the studs as much as possible. Took the same approach with the women's team yesterday who were -51 against New Zealand and it played out as expected. GL!
