How are the comps in Vegas? I mostly play poker and some blackjack. Are drinks free? What about meal comps? I play in Tunica all of the drinks are free (anything you want) and I have never paid for a meal?
Not a high roller....

I find it best to give the ladies at the tables 2 bucks per beer, instead of one, they come back quicker and sometimes have the beer for you before you ask.
Illusion and I are going to rip up the bacarrat tables

Very true. Another way to guarantee almost instant service is, if theres four of you give her 10 each time for the four and just treat it like buying a round as and when your turn comes, very cheap night for a lot of beer.

Drinks are free if you're "gambling". Meal comps for poker are generally $1/hour of play. Comps vary in the pits, depending on average bet size and longevity at the tables. Slots are actually the quickest way to earn comps. If you know basic strategy for video poker and can play close to break even, it's the best way to earn comps in Vegas.

Absolutely. There are computer trainers to teach you the best methods to play. Check out the Gamblers General store when you get here.

Vegas always tight with their comps. Was playing BJ at the Bellagio and asked the pitboss about comps and he said $25/hand for 8 hours and he'd comp a buffet.
Never been downtown but heard they are a lot looser with comps there.

First, Never keep a kicker with any pair. Holding a kicker to any pair reduces your return by 5%.
2nd, Never draw four cards if you can draw three to a royal flush.
3rd, Always keep five-card winning pat hands with on exception: if you can, draw one card to a royal.
4th, Don't break a flush even if you can draw one to a straight flush, but
5th, always break a flush to draw to a royal.
6th, Never break a straight to draw to a straight flush.
7th, Never draw five if you have a jack or better, and
8th, don't keep a ten for a four card draw.

Yeah, my Brother said they were super tight at Bellagio. I am thinking downtown will be more like Tunica.

offstrip is place to be strip are tight azzez
the card tells you your value when you insert it a balance shows up,that balance can be used to purchase anything from all the propertyies they own from ciggs to condoms
some casinos comps suck, some are great, but i will tell you playing at a game table like craps,bj ect ect is not monitored that great leaving you with alot less value then you should be getting for your money
