135 or 225 sets for high reps does nothing for your muscles. Only that last set with your heaviest weight does that.
Those sets go into your recovery ability making you not to be able to handle the heaviest weight you could use and you could do more reps with your heavy set.

Your too stubborn to even pay attention let alone read.
A warmup set should be just that. A warmup set.

What your doing is equivalent to a powerlifter doing a set to almost failure then doing a 1 rep max
The best powerlifters do warmup sets and then there 1 rep max and do 1 and 2 rep warmups to prepare their
body for that 1 rep max,, as an example.


Which set builds the most muscle of those sets you do and which rep is the best rep? I can answer that but i doubt you can in an intellectual manner.

That light warmup set for 15 reps does jack shit.

Yes it's a variation of HIT... it's still considered volume training because of the massive pump and reps... And you're not a bodybuilder so how would you know about the fascia..

Because i have read just about every book on health,, powerlifting, bodybuilding, etc. You keep committing the fallacy of context switching. One day you say something and then the next day its something else.

That is not volume training and you would do even better if you did what i said. Do it for one workout. You have nothing to lose and could even bash if it fails, but it won't.

Example of my 700 pound squat back in 2006

Empty bar 15 reps
135 for 10 reps
185 for 5 reps
225 for 5 reps
315 for 2 reps
400 for 2 reps
500 for 1 rep
550 for 1 rep
600 for 1 rep
650 for 1 rep
700 to failure, 7 reps.

Example of someone that can only squat 225 for 10 reps should be
empty bar for 10 reps
100 pounds for 5 or 6 reps
135 for 2 or 3 reps
185 for 2 or 3 reps
225 to failure


As the weights grow heavier each week or workout, so do the demands on the body and more rest will be needed.
