I actually played ball with some NBA players at mount vernon high school.

ben gordon and lowes moore.

also jomo belfor, mike coburn, and johnathan williams who all played in the big east.

those kids have heart. i was really impressed. thats kids made me better and taught me how to compete with heart for when i played varsity football. i was sitting like 2 rows behind jim calhoun when he was talking to ben gordon trying to recruit him to go to uconn.

I play in a serious mostly black dude league. 2 (of 10) games in fall league were called early for "fighting," which is when one black guy takes a cheap shot at another before immediately retreating to the posse and then issues various non-specific threats regarding the target's sexuality. It's like wild kingdom.

After games, they put their fake gold and diamond crosses back on before discussing the best places to find local sluts for the evening. It's a good time.
