What system would you recommend buying and why?

buy the 360 if you like a lot of games to choose from and superior online play.

buy the ps3 if you are into graphics, blu ray and loyal to your ps2 sytems.


buy the wii if you plan to have a lot of partys and have people over to play the games. Women love to play the wii>

all that said, I have the 360 but wish i had the ps3

Wii seems to be more for the kids. PS3 has alot of army/fight games. no clue on the 360

What game system is the best for sports games. I want to get a system but I am only interested into the sports games. I heard XBOX360 but then I have heard ps3 is the way.... Anyone have first hand experience?

I have a XBOX 360 and Wii. For sports i really would not recomend Wii nor for shooter games. Wii is still more towards the kids side. I had a ps2 before too and I have to say sony playstations have better control I like the use of those better than the XBOX. But overall xbox 360 is good and has great games. I do like that in PS3 you dont have to pay to play games online while for xbox you have to pay a monthly fee if you want to play your games online.

wii is garbage unless you like zelda. i love nintendo but i sold my wii, the mario game is mediocre and the system is made for chicks

get a ps3 , bluray makes it worth it

if you buy a 360 you will have the 3 rings of death, meaning that your system is crashed, i had the ring of death 2 weeks when i brought my system, now im on ps3, i had it since it first came out and still working like a champ....

XBOX 360 is the system, there is no more 3 rings of death with the new versions, so thats a mute point. For online play, and variety and quality of games, THIS is the one for you.

Search the internet reviews, the 360 is still rated better than PS3.

X360 vs PS3... PS3 has slightly better graphics, but X360 has better controllers. Battery life and range are better. I buy my sports games on X360, and solo-player games on the PS3.

Wii is not for sports. It is for soft-core gamers.

I prefer PC also crazyl. I do not play the consoles much. Started out with battlefield 1942 then on to desert combat, vietnam, battlefield 2, battlefield 1942, COD4, and now teamfortress 2. My gaming clan is getting kind of bored with that though and are playing some old school vietnam for fun. Our clan buy the box so we can put on whatever we like. If anyone plays those games and is looking for a gaming clan let me know. We have been around over 7 years and have played tons of matches competitively although not lately as no games have that great feel like desertcombat and battlefield 2 did.
