Will the Detroit Lions make the playoffs this season?
Jon Kitna is easily the best qb in the NFC north since brett favre got traded to the jets. The offense should put up big numbers with roy williams and calvin johnson as well as the run game with tatum bell and rookie kevin smith. The only question mark is the defense. We'll have to wait and see, but I like the lions chances to at least get a wild card if anything.

If they can run the ball maybe, but I don't think they can.

No way, they are the worst team in the division.

Teams percolate up and surprise in the NFL every year. But I just dont get the feeling the Lions are that team this year.

Their defense isn't a "question mark". Their defense is swiss cheese. Ranked 32nd in the NFL in yards/game (377.6)and points/game (27.8)last year.

And they do not have a proven running back. And exactly how good Kitna is or isn't is certainly open for debate.

I do not think they're as good as GB even without #4 or Minnesota who has QB issues of their own. I have them being roughly on par with Chicago who has their own QB issues and RB issues.
