Booked me a rental car for the SBR Bash
Since Im staying at The Orleans thurs-monday (will prob stay the night downtown friday), I decided to get a rental. Plus Im going to Lake Meid on Sunday I think. Anyways, if anyone is looking for one I got a cheap one from Dollar Rent A Car. 4 days, $47 before taxes, $77 after taxes for 4 days/unlim miles.

A taxi ride to downtown from the strip is $15-$17 each way. Saving cash already

    Shuttle Service

The Orleans offers free shuttle service to its sister property the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino as well as the Las Vegas strip. The shuttle operates 7 days a week from 9:30 AM to midnight and picks up guests approximately every 20 - 30 minutes from the hotel's Tropicana Avenue entrance. Coast Casinos hotel guests will receive priority seating on all shuttles.

Its smart to grab a car. Iwin. I always do, when there. Its nice to move around at your leisure. Plus, you can head out to L.A. for a couple of hours if you want.(or the Bunny Ranch )

I'm guessing the cross country trip with girlfriend in the Toyota Yaris is scratched. Gas is down to $3.50 pal. You should consider it.

            Car rental right downtown.

I think there is a major car rental chain right at the Golden Nugget or close to it.Always look for coupon codes online when you rent a car.At least, usually you get an upgrade for the same cost. It's amazing how cheap car rental is under certain conditions and terms in certain towns.I'm not sure where Vegas lies on price averages?A person can get a lot of bang for their buck renting a car by driving it steady or sleeping in the back seat etc.I'll bet chips,GPS and computers are starting to show up installed in rental cars.If you take the National Lampoon Vacation route,a voice probably automatically comes on yelling at you. It's a known fact that the government can even hear what's going on when your cell phone is turned completely off.
