Can anyone go 3 nights without drinking?

ive gone 5 night. was in walmart and it was real hard not too pick up some beer. something is wrong i never crave it like this i think im an alcoholic now

I go to the gym 5-6 days a week, drink 1-3 days a week. Definitely drink beers on Sunday (Liquor in Nascar season... Shot for every caution. I blacked out quite a few times). Not a big drinker during the week though.

If I drank during the week, my bets would be even worse...

I've quit before. One time I even went completely clean: no drinking, no smoking, no gambling. Was the worst half hour of my life.

i think i had a heart attack last week. was on my 4th straight night drinking heavily and i was outside smoking a small cigar and my chest just started killing and i felt faint. went away in about 5 seconds. i figure good chance it was a heart attack. either way tonight is my last night drinking. i can still turn things around if i want so im going to. little weird that ppl around here are even letting me almost do myself in like this anyways. like ppl want puppy put down

Easy to get into this habit and have these urges... tough to break it once you're in. Definitely struggled with this for a while now.

i seriously haven't gone a night without at least one alcoholic drink in quite a few years. It is the only thing i look forward to besides gambling.

However, most nights are way more than one.

i used to drink every fukn night...then i got a job with responsibility and decided it was time to grow up. now i drink once or twice a week at most. weekends mostly. you save a ton of money and feel a lot better. much more motivation, but not as much fun. haha to each his own
