youre forgetting howard has veto power by refusing to sign an extension unless he goes to the team he likes. and he wants to play with kobe and paul in sunny la not rose.

howard has said the player he would most like to play with is kobe and in a warm climate city. doesnt sound like he has chicago on his mind.
