I find it hard to believe that "incarceratedbob" is the only person in the media to know this...Maybe he's right, but i think he's probably just hoping that the deal gets done so that he can take credit for "breaking the story". I doubt he has anything confirmed.

Anyway, if they can pull of the rumored trade, losing only Pau Gasol, then that would still leave them with Bynum and Odom to be the building blocks of a trade for Howard. Best case scenario, Andrew Bynum comes in and is a beast on both ends of the floor, and clicks with CP3, bringing his game to another level. If this happens, then Bynum and Odom become enough to pry Howard from Orlando.
Even if LA doesn't get Howard, but does get Paul, it makes LA an even more attractive free-agent option for years to come. Is there a player in the league who doesn't want to play with a pass-first, elite point guard entering his prime? Someone who makes every player look better then they are, and is fun to play with?
