    Credit Card Frauds are Rampant
keep your credit card number safe is pretty hard to do. do you know when you go to certain retail stores, the clerk can write down your credit card number and god know what they can do with it.

This method works for me. Check your credit card transaction every 2 weeks, if you found something fishy, call up credit card company and they'll issue you a new card with a new number. It seems like I have to do this about once a year. So every year I get a new number...all unsafe transactions that've done with my old credit card numbers won't matter at all becasue that card number will no longer be valid.

This method only works if you only use 1-2 credit card and doesn't carry a balance.

Couple of weeks ago, i go charged 4 times from BestBuy, with 1-2k each...total about 7-8k. the funny part is that there are no bestbuys in my country. my guess is that someone sold my credit card number and some eastern european mob is using it as their atm. i am glad i caught it quickly and get a new number. just have to make sure you modify all your auto-pay accounts.

what's funny is people here have no problem using their credit card at walmart but freak out about sending their drivers license to a sportsbook. "i don't want some minimum wage employee in Jamaica having acress to my name".

of course they can't do anything with the license. and they ignore the fact that the minimum wage wal mart/best buy whatever employee in the US is just as likely to steal their #.
