WHATS wrong with College BBall?

I know its early in the season but what the hell is going on?

You couldnt even field a "Dream Team" of college players. There are more 4 or 5 legitimate stars, and because of the 1 and done rule they are all unfortunately just young guys who have potential but arent polished.

I understand early season rankings are politics but we saw a Mizzou team beat a higher ranked team by 40 points, Marquette barely won last as a top 10 team? Not only that but these guys look awful. I'm not sure if kids are going to football and baseball or something but CBB has been in such a decline these past few years.

These top teams look god awful and its not like there are teams in the wings waiting to crack in the top 25. F**king Harvard is ranked, thats how you know how little depth there are.

Is it me or is college basketball getting worse as a brand?
No stars, horrible depth in the top 25, hardly any upperclassmen that are exciting.
That Butler championship games was one of the worst sporting big games ive ever seen (along with the "game of the century in cfb this year)
They need to lower it down to the top 15 because the teams that are "ranked" means nothing like it did when we were younger (for those of us who no longer get carded at places)

GO watch the NBA when is starts, I personally can not get enough of college basketball! Yes they miss shots but you know what they give 100%, watch the NBA most teams just go through the motions and MAYBE play 20 games hard all year. The NBA is such a lazy league, only thing guys care about is money and the name on the back of the jersey, where as college play for each other and the name on the front of the jersey!

As well I guess you didn't watch Kentucky/UNC last weekend, that game was insane!

Mr. Reality. Do you realize the 2003 draft is arguably the best draft in NBA history. There were also a couple other drafts after that which were probably better than what 2012 has to offer. Who is the best player in the draft? Sullinger? lol

What type dumbass response is this? When did I ever say I like the NBA more or that it was better? The answer is never.

Im just saying CBB has been getting worse the past few years. No superstars and no depth in teams. And it was not as good last year. Im guessing youre like 18 or something and you dont remember back when you could find polished upperclassmen who were NBA bound playing together and against one another.

Not sure how it wasn't as good as last year when last years draft was one of the worst ever....if college hoops is worse it's not because of lack of talent. Obviously it's different than years ago but it's been that way for at least 10 years.

Have you watched Kentucky? They've almost got two full starting fives of five star recruits..that's never happened before.

Probably what you're witnessing is that the talent is being spread wider across the country and to "mid majors". Turn on espnu right now and watch Kyle Weems on Missouri state. I don't know his specific story but guys like him who are projected as role players at big time schools nowadays will just go play for a mid major so they can be the man....and he can still play on tv nowadays just like the big boys. Except he's turned into one of the big boys.
