Fade Boston?
But watch you try that, and they hammer the team on the 3rd night.

I did a quick skim of a bit of the schedule and damn this is gonna be a wacky year. Seems if a team is off, they are only off for a day or two if lucky. Plus I see where teams that are on 3 games in a row will sometimes have to travel.... for example Houston away, then home, then away again. It also looks like you will have a back 2 back game from time to time of the same 2 teams playing each other.... for example Houston plays at OKC, then the next night they play again at Houston's home court. Gonna be a fun year !

This schedule is a mess... So many B2Bs, 3in4s, and 5in7s that it's no longer a rarity to see teams go through rough patches... It's all brutal. The thing is, I would expect the books to be ahead on this point and factor it into their lines when teams are on the last leg of a B2B2B... Team depth will be a bigger factor than ever before.

a back to back doesn't mean anything in nba.
only time fatigue will play in is if they are playing like 3 games in a row or maybe 4 in 5.

There's going to be 47 B2B2B games this season in the NBA...how can we turn this into some kind of system? Any thoughts?
pound opening unders..? guys should be rusty, out of shape. lots of turnovers and missed shots to start out the season

I think you will see more blowouts, I thought I saw teams playing back to backups are usually home 1 game and away the next
So many team will be doing this it will be hard to really see who has an advantage

OKC (Jan27-Feb10): @GSW, ___, ___, @LAC, ___, @DAL, ___, MEM, @SAS, ___, @POR, @GSW, ___, @SAC, @UTA. Nine games in 15 days, 8 of them on the road, 2 separate trips to the West Coast, and ending in a B2B at elevation in Utah...
PHX (Apr3-Apr14): @SAC, @UTA, ___, @DEN, LAL, ___, @MIN, ___, @MEM, ___, @HOU, @SAS. Eight games in 12 days, 7 on the road, significant travel and multiple games at elevation. The Lakers are going to beat them by 40.
MEM (Mar30-Apr7): @HOU, @MIL, ___, @OKC, GSW, @DAL, ___, @MIA, DAL. Seven games in 9 days, one at home. Miami is at home for 4 days and has the night off before.
There are a lot of bad stretches for a lot of teams, but I think these are the three worst that I've seen.
I think it's going to be interesting to see how the teams react to these tight stretches. Rather than saying Overs/Unders are going to be favoured, I think that when a team goes off the rails while in a busy stretch, it should be a good idea to bet against them. It will be harder to correct bad play in a short period of time.

whats the deal with the few players that bolted over seas? I was reading today Wilson Chandler (who is playing somewhere in China, just dropped 44 and 22 the the other night) contract is up in Feb and will be available to NBA teams than. he was a pretty important piece in the Melo trade.
who are some other guys that jumped ship?

Denver got hit the hardest with JR Smith, Wilson Chandler, and Kenyon Martin. Most of the guys that signed on elsewhere were minimum salary guys. The majority of the stars that played overseas had contracts that released them for the NBA if/when it got back on track. Denver is going to have a really tough year.
