Any other posters have Gout?

I have had it since I was 18. It runs in my family, it is the most painful thing I have ever encountered. I take allopurinol now daily and it controls my uric acid level. I was curious what other posters have Gout as well?

No but the 2 most painful things you can ever get is shingles and gout and a Dr. will tell you Gout surpasses shingles as far as the most pain.
