The buy-in is no higher than we charge for sportsbook freeplay contests. The argument could be made it's actually easier to roll over in poker.

if you think that you should let us get the freeplay in the sportsbook instead. its obviously way easier and not dependent on your software.

This schedule is a holiday schedule.

But in a few days Lou will announce the Ryder Cup styled SBR World Cup that starts in Jan. We will have tourneys every 4 hours, 24 hours a day!

Can you elaborate on this? What is an SBR World cup? And can we play all the tournaments in a day, every four hours? Are they free to enter?

The complete tournament details will be posted in a week or two.

Basically we will have a couple of months of daily tournaments. From those 4 ten man teams will qualify; 1 World team, 1 USA team, 1 Canada team and 1 Europe team. Those teams will play a series of 4 man poker tourneys to determine the champion. There will be qualifying tourneys every 4 hours but you can only play in one of those per day.

If you cash in an SBR Poker tournament, they are credited as poker points. Here is a helpful guide on SBR Poker bonus points. Basically they are accessible through the regular SBR Poker ring tables, where you can sit down and buy-in with them. You must complete a 3X rollover for them to be converted to regular points.

SBR John - I was just thinking... for your normal daily tournaments we all know you're only allowed one tournament per day and a max entry of 55 people. If a poster wanted to join more couldn't you suggest a fee? Like 10-15 SBR points for every additional daily tournament? Just a suggestion. I'm just learning how it works and would like to join in more tournaments to gain experience. I'm really glad I started this month. Poker is totally fun! I'm wondering why it took me so long to play? Thanks John.

i suggest 2 usa teams for the ryder cup strictly due to the large field from USA.

Along the line of what Rudy says - maybe instead of having Team USA, Team Canada, Team Europe and Team World - take the top 40 players and make them Team A, B, C and D.

I'm guessing Team USA will have the most participants and will be harder to qualify.

With the growth of SBRforum internationally, I think you'll find Team Europe is just as hard to qualify for. What it will do is make the accomplishment all the sweeter for the poker players that make the team.
