Yes. Everyone will start the New year at zero.

Lou will announce the three major tournaments for next year in the next week or so. One will be based on your tourney play winnings and the prize pool will be $15,000 cash. Another will pay a first prize of $5,000 and 50,000 points for the final table.

SBR would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe, fun holiday season.

2011 was a great year for the forum and we project 2012 to continue our current 25%+ growth rate.

The contest schedule will show an increase in contests and a sharply increased prize pool. BeatThePrick and SBRPoker will be two of the bigger beneficiaries of the increased prize pools in 2012. BTP will give out $25,000 in cash to the top 50 finishers up from $10,00. Poker will give out $20,000 in straight cash in 2012 and well over a million poker points.

There were several material changes with the SBR points loyalty program in 2011 to assure its scalability and ultimately its fiscal soundness. We appreciate your understanding.

Thanks to the work of dedicated staff as well as some policy changes, much of the runaway fraud experienced in 2010 has been limited. The SBR store will raise prices in the store on selected items after the NFL Superbowl. The total increase will average 4-4.5%.

The new SBROdds overcame technical issues and has returned to its position as the top free odds and score board. The SBR Forum is scheduled for an upgrade early next year.
