SBR would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe, fun holiday season.

2011 was a great year for the forum and we project 2012 to continue our current 25%+ growth rate.

The contest schedule will show an increase in contests and a sharply increased prize pool. BeatThePrick and SBRPoker will be two of the bigger beneficiaries of the increased prize pools in 2012. BTP will give out $25,000 in cash to the top 50 finishers up from $10,00. Poker will give out $20,000 in straight cash in 2012 and well over a million poker points.

There were several material changes with the SBR points loyalty program in 2011 to assure its scalability and ultimately its fiscal soundness. We appreciate your understanding.

Thanks to the work of dedicated staff as well as some policy changes, much of the runaway fraud experienced in 2010 has been limited. The SBR store will raise prices in the store on selected items after the NFL Superbowl. The total increase will average 4-4.5%.

The new SBROdds overcame technical issues and has returned to its position as the top free odds and score board. The SBR Forum is scheduled for an upgrade early next year.

iPad's will likely be an item on the price list increase list. The list has not been completed so I can not tell you about specific items. If you are saving for an item in the store I would encourage you to purchase it prior to the Superbowl.

Unfortunately poker is no closer to becoming Mac compatible. It will be one day but as of now we do not have the right programmers to make this happen and we do not want to farm it out due to the risk of having the source code copied.

Sad sad news about the delay of Poker for Macs

Can we play on any of the tablets on market right now? I'm assuming the iPad2 is a no-go but what about one of the Droid tablets? Asus Transformer/Samsung??

SBR stores not going to get sportsbook cash for USA customers anytime soon?

No. But we have had some positive talks with sportsbooks sponsoring more cash(no rollover) contests and tournaments. This year they were cool on the idea of giving out cash.

Unfortunately, giving US players sportsbook cash, even if its free, is an area of law that is grey and untested. We would prefer not to be the test case.

It's a work in progress. We are evaluating software and hoping we can buy source code that would shorten the development time. We will have a sub forum dedicated to fantasy up soon.
