I was worried about seeing this movie. I can't stand John C. Reilly and secondly, Will Ferrell's last few movies haven't been that great.

Step Brothers was definitely my favorite movie this year (so far).

Last one I went to at the theatre was Super Bowl Sunday, The Bucket List. Saw Charlie Wilson's War a few weeks before that, and those are the only two I've gone to see since Super Bowl Sunday 2007.

Yeah, as far as Tom Hanks' movies, Charlie Wilson ranks near the bottom of my list probably. Oddly, I really went to see it because I'm a big Philip Seymour Hoffman fan and not because it had Hanks in it.

I had rented it and put it in while my parents were visiting. When the opening scene has naked hookers in a hot tub sniffing coke, I realized it wouldn't be something I would want to watch with my super conservative mother.
