worldwide golf is only good BECAUSE of tiger. the 25-35 year old guys only played golf as kids 10-15 years ago because tiger made it exciting, and they only got serious because the prize money/endorsements went through the roof all over the world.

you only had a handful of decent golfers 20 years ago because nobody wanted to spend 20k worth of travel expenses/year to make 30k golfing.

He came in 3rd in a big Aussie tourney also a few weeks back and had a bad round
Also played pretty good in Pres Cup

Course played hard..its not the field its how you play

No one would of beat him this week

He is getting close..now he is not going to dominant but he will be a force,,age a little with a lot of golf years and better players is the reason

FYI tiger hit 17 of 18 greens in the Saturday afternoon match of the presidents cup that he "lost" thanks to dopey Dustin. Followed it up with 4 under thru 15, lowest score of the day in the final matches. He didn't just come back this week.

Also Jim furyk won the 2009 chevron and won the 2010 tour player of the year and fed ex cup

Tiger should be right there next year

Hard nowadays to win even 2 events per year

I think one guy did it last year
