This was "the game" people thought would give USA trouble. The team got focussed and serious in a heartbeat. If they could maintain this level of play, they isn't a squad in China that could give them a game. Monday's game verses Germany might have a minor letdown but America should get the job done.

The craziest thing is how many people actually took spain and the points... Here is a lesson to everyone for both men and womens basketball..

NEVER bet against the U.S.

the one time I did was with Angola and +43pts (or something close)

and for the women..

Mali and +60pts

15 is not enough against these teams... fading the U.S. even with 20 pts is a tough proposition
