probably Bama played a slightly tougher schedule but not by much. Only tough opponents Bama played was @penn state,vs Arkansas, and vs LSU.

OSU played Kansas State, Baylor, Oklahoma, Texas. They had the tougher schedule by far played 6 teams with winning records (and going 6-0) where as Alabama only played 4 teams with winning records going 3-1.

Alabama had their chance to take LSU out in Tuscaloosa. I could see the argument for a rematch if the game was in Baton Rouge. If they couldn't beat them in a regular season game on their home turf, why should they have the right to play for the national championship on a neutral field? Oklahoma State has not just beaten, but dismantled 2 Top 25 teams (Oklahoma, Baylor), and also own a victory over another potential BCS team (Kansas St). The BCS are the ones that promote every week is a playoff game in college football. Well, Alabama had their playoff game, and they lost.
