They would look like world beaters on offense in the Big 12 and Pac 10.

Before opening your cocksuckers you might want to see how many points a game they are actually averaging rm18. You might find yourself surprised. They have been money all year.

what do you think the line would be if this LSU or alabam team played texas or usc from '05?

i think the '05 teams would be double digit favorites.

I am talking total yards, running kicks and picks back and getting good field position does not mean they have a good offense

LSU stats do not lie. Check them out before you post things you do not have the facts of. Not trying to be a dic, but what I am posting is reality. They have damn good overall stats.

force a fumble and you don't need a good qb. lsu also has a great kicker. defense and a good kicker is all you need

I would definitely take either one of those teams over either LSU or Alabama this season.

LSU and Bama have great defenses and average at best offenses. I don't want to hear the BS about how many points LSU scores. Most of those come from their defense and special teams.

Two punt returns and a fumbled set up all of LSU's scoring tonight. They have two first downs the entire game so don't give me that crap about their offense being great. It's not.

Their offense may have 50 yards total. The 21 points is misleading.

I don't think anyone is arguing with you that their defense is awesome. That being said, their offense sucks and I don't want to watch a 9-6 national championship game that is nothing more than a FG kicking contest.

In addition, offense wins in the NFL. See the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots. So defense doesn't always win.

i went and looked at those teams roster. they were so good it's crazy. they had so many players drafted on both sides of the ball it's hard to believe.

easily the best two teams in the BCS era.

05 USC/Texas were both very overrated. Neither had a good defense. LSU in 05 probably would have beaten both teams. This year's defense is off the charts. We are probably looking at the best DB's in football history.

easily the best two teams in the BCS era.
Wait until you see all the guys that will be in the NFL from LSU and Bama's teams this year. I heard something like at least 26 players on LSU will be drafted and many in the first 3 rounds. That's crazy.

yeah but offensively these two teams aren't that good except on the o line to have players drafted.

And in case you forgot 2005. USC should have lost to Notre Dame without the illegal Bush push, should have lost to Fresno State and Arizona State. They were far from dominant.

Texas should have lost to OSU and was in a dog fight with Okie State in a very poor Big12 that year. Their schedule was very soft. I think LSU, Auburn, UGA and Bama would have given both teams a fight but beat up on each other in the SEC that year and never got the chance.
