So my argument was that they need to be educated and your response was "fukk em all" which has now become 'we need to educate them'. That was a quick turnaround. More quality education leads to more money and fewer kids, thats why what I do and why programs like Teach for America and AmeriCorps are important. It's not about handouts it's about creating self-reliance and increasing knowledge and intelligence at younger ages so that they DONT make the same mistakes their parents did.

Last year I watched a girl who I had known for 3 years and had been sexually assaulted by her father since she was 12 graduate high school. She was broke, in an abusive relationship and living on a friends couch and trusted no one when I met her and through the after school program I was with she got her shit together and is now pursing a nursing degree at a tech school.
