#41Vancouver is absolutely the place to be for the casinos and climate (Plus Whistler and the beaches). The city is amazing, but you pay for it with a higher cost of living. I would also argue that the Pacific timezone is more gambler friendly with respect to starting times for games. Even the late games that start at 10:30pm EST are done out here by 10pm PST, giving you more free time in the evenings.
If you're staying east, I would choose Toronto over Montreal. More livable city and 100% English. Montreal is a great town to visit, but not somewhere I really want to live.Comment -

#42don't worry if you don't speak French.
just tilt your heads sideways, curl your upper lip down and your lower lip up, start making some grunting 'oui bleh' sounds, grab your junk and start twirling your bacon and eggs around in a circle, and make sure you're wearing one of those funny caps....
.. and you'll fit right in.Comment -

#43Vancouver or Toronto would be my choice. The only problem is that a house in either of those 2 cities in a decent neighbourhood will cost you $600K for starters. Vancouver has always had a reputation for being the most expensive in Canada. Both are also safe and a nice place to raise a family as long as your not in the downtown core...Comment -

#47I think you have to have either a ton of money or be a special skilled worker to move there. Also you will be rquired to file taxes in both US and Canada. It also requires that you be in good health (free govt paid health care)Comment -

#50Kingston looks nice. So does Ottawa. Didn't realize Montreal people were so obnoxious. Vancouver is just too far away.Comment -

#51Kingston has a large university (lots of good looking women) if that matters to you. Its close enough to both the border and Toronto.
I would recommend it highly. Great town.Comment -
