It is becoming more common, yes. The mindset of "wanting to win a nickel" needs to adjust along with what the books are doing.

you bet, but because you got a nice 30 second delay on your account......................you can't get the bet accepted until the line turns to shit.

heritage is the worst book for people who take betting sports serious.

Yeah, if you want to play NFL sides 10 minutes before kick off and bet all the marquee TV games. They going to love you and give you some perks. But that is because you're betting games impossible to beat.

As long as its a 20 cent or less line then what's the difference? I mean if it's -135/+115 is that really more squeezing than -110/-110? Not really. Just different. It's another option. That's why you gotta use multiple outs.

The theoretical hold is only around 3.957% vs. 4.762%. That's the reason you don't see books posting 20 cents for a +280/-300 ML. The 20 cents juice is not nearly as impactful at those higher levels as opposed to -110.

Playing offshore is going straight to the bottom-the industry is as bad as I have seen-go to Nevada. And for horses TVG OR XPRESS bet. To heck with these crazy lines-rollovers and the hassle of payment. Just my solution.

obviously i understand everything everyone wrote here..it just sickens me when i like a play at halftime and before i can even confirm the bet its moved to a -130 or some nonsense..most of the time i will play it regardless if i think its a winner but as we all know these 2nd halfs very often come down to a point or a half point..thats when you start messing up your head overanalyzing the play since you know this and you ask yourself damn do i really want to get burned by a half point and meanwhile this line is now at -140..lol..so its ****** in my opinion...used to be they moved the juice rarely and usually the line..now its the exact opposite and if you are betting real money a couple of half point burns will negate a lot of profit..the only solution i can think of is to call up as soon as that game goes into the half and be like ok i'll hold if the line isnt up yet and be prepared to make a snap decision play.

well there is one way you can try..you see they are trying to kill it with juice now..so wait until the lines get juiced to -135 or -140 and consistently take the dog....probably will beat em at their own game, cause im sure in the long run the plus money will win out.

One of these days some one will get it and put in a drop down box so you can pick the spread and juice you want. The first book to do this will get lot's of business while other crappy books like heritage will just go away.

while heritage would only hang a -4.5 -135, 5D would allow you to adjust to their -4.5 -125 to -6 -110, or -6.5 -102. something to that effect. Could go beyond and take -7 +110
