I really don't know what everyong is surprised about, he bets huge favorites 100% of the time. That's the only way he gambles, hence, why he loses in the long run 100% of the time! He might make it a week or 2, but will be busted by middle of December at the very very latest.

There is rarely value in such heavy favourites. Add to that he routinely pays 20% too much for the half points he buys and good things are not likely to happen.
