Gambling stories with you or a friend/loved ones.........

I am sure a lot of us know some really tragic stories that have to do with gambling. Regardless if it was you or a friend, what are some of the horror stories you have heard about? The only one that I know on a personal level.... A good friend of mine lost his home, job, marriage and got in debt 140k. He is a wreck and now is into smokin H and rarely gambles because of his habit.....
.... I am sure there are much much worse. I am curious to hear some stories you know first hand....

I know somebody who paid a few books with counterfeit bills, so legit as legit looking as can be. Did it for over 3 years, got Greedy got caught and they shot him in the leg, and tortured him for 2 days.

Tried, he is lost in it.. it is sad... he had everything but now the heroin is all he consumes.

hope he can help himself but you need such a strong support system
