Do you think most moneygram and ** cashiers assume you're up to no good
Do you think most moneygram and ** cashiers assume you're up to no good
** and moneygram both claim that you can't be using it for anything illegal.... and no gambling
But come on, what percentage of monegram and ** transfers are for gambling and also selling drugs?

i doubt much at all is for drugs
for gambling theres a lot.
but there is also a shitload (way less right now though) of people sending money from the US to their families in latin america. though when gringos that look like me do it, it probably arouses some suspicion.
honestly though, I couldn't say. i've never once sent or recieved either one from the us. and only once sent a moneygram from colombia, where i of course got odd looks being gringo.

Last time I used **, I handed the form and cash inside the tellers window, she said "ah, going to the gambling capital of the world". I just smirked, she was odd and tried charging a $12 send fee until her coworker corrected her.

I was given a name once and shortly after giving my control number from **, the book called me to say their guy is not able to pick up the cash, and I needed to contact ** to have them release the funds.
Upon contact I was told this receiver was not authorized by the GOV to receive any money, he was on some list.
I called the sportsbook to advise them of the situation, and they said well thats in possible because the name we gave you doesn't even exist, that they use fake names.
Not sure how hey do this, but didn't make me feel safe.

as long as they make their money on the fees I think they could give a shit as long as you dont try and send thousands of dollars

I have never sent less than a 1000, seems a waste of time to send a couple hundred.

I felt like a real dick once, when the book gave me ** union name, instead of a ** name.
I had to go back to to the supermarket and say , I didn't mean to send this money to Helga Anna Zhiuoti in Bulgaria....
I meant Anna Maria Chiquita-Banana in Nicaragua...
my bad !
That's why we need a Neteller.
Worst of all, I knew the woman at the service counter, she used to be my supervisor 25 years ago, when I was a HS kid working at the grocery store.
She ( Robin) was a Hottie (then), about 7 years older than me, wound up marrying a kid in my HS class, as her 2nd husband. I wanted to die asking for this change.

Well, first of all, they dont work for ** or ** they work for the store you are in.
2nd, I like it, I have been out with 2 clerks because of my gambling transactions... its a nice ice breaker... the 2 I went out with were always curious why I was in so often sending and receiving overseas... i always played it off like nah I cant tell ya and that intrigued them
I dont use it much anymore because it is a hassle to pick up more than a few hundred, most of these stores wont pay out anything over $500.

Western Union online is pretty hassle free. You can get all the info from the book in a live chat, deposit online, then, voila, you've got action on a game in 15 minutes that way.
