This 2011 Saints team is built for that weather also.
We can run the ball if we have to:
RB's
1) Pierre Thomas
2) Mark Ingram
3) Darren Sproles
4) Chris Ivory

Agreed 100%, people tend to just look at Brees and the receivers when they look at this team, but at the same time, Brees/Rodgers/Brady are guys that can still legitimately make big passing plays in bad weather.
The one thing that's still hampering the Saints is their defense. When they get into a matchup with a high powered team like the Packers, that game is going to be a shootout. Both teams have good talent in their secondaries, but both have the tendency to be soft against the pass. The Saints have a soft schedule to finish the year but I would feel a whole lot more confident in them if I see a real lockdown performance against at least one of the Lions/Falcons/Panthers.

Yeah, but what about your secondary; it's awful. Your small corners will get torched just like they did tonight and in week 1. Your offense is scary good, but that defense....
Before you start ragging on the Packers defense, they turn the ball over like the Saints of 2009; getting turnovers is what's missing from the Saints defense this year.

If your judging based off pics than unquestion your knowledge of the game. The bottom line is both of our defenses give up a lot of yards because our offenses move at fast paste!
I don't think the Packs want to see us.
And also the packs barely beat us without key players! No Will Smith or Lance Moore, which was HUGE!!

I could care less about a defense that gives up yards; it's all about points and turning the ball over. GB is ranked 14th in the league in scoring defense and # 2 in takeaways. The Saints are 19th in scoring defense and 32nd in takeaways; that's what I'm getting at.
As for who I'd rather play, both the Saints and SF will be difficult; but SF clearly has the better defense and that might make them the tougher matchup in a bad weather game at Lambeau.

The thing about Green Bay is they live or die on Rodgers arm. He's been unreal so far this year and an injury would be a disaster for GB, but until he shows signs of weakness it's hard to imagine GB not performing at a high level against all comers.

Interesting, I suppose Rodgers could get hurt, but mistakes get you beat in this league and GB is one of the smartest teams in the league. Do you have any analysis or is it just a hunch on your part?

Right. The Packers lost to a 2-10 Detroit team last year, as well as the Redskins and Dolphins, and then went on to win the Superbowl. So what's your point?

While it's not the only defensive stat it's pretty important and the Pack are actually second in the league in TO differential so they must be doing something right on defense.

The problem with opportunistic defenses is that when you run into a team that takes good care of the ball and don't win the TO battle, it's very apparent in the box score. That's exactly what happened to the Patriots last year when they ran into the Jets. There are several teams that aren't strictly better than the Packers, but can deny them the ball.

Because they don't let smith throw it that much?--If GB can tighten up their run D over these last 5 games nobody will beat them in the playoffs.

None are as bad as the Rams.
Lions only won because of Rodgers injury.
Saints were actually trying to beat the Rams and still lost fully healthy and rolling.
Put the Saints on the road and grass and they lose in the playoffs.
They really need the #2 seed to have a decent run and then lose to the Packers again.
