In reference to Nationality Thread- Italians and Gambling

What makes Italians so prone to being gamblers? I am part Italian and overall it appears that the majority are either full or part Italian, so what makes us gamblers? We love extarvagence and we can live better if we can improve lifestyle with gambling winnings we also enjoy the finer things in life money,cars, women, wine, entertainment its funny because growing up all the "mob" movies portray gamblers are degenerate fvcks and they take action but don't gamble yet we are the majority of gamblers it appears so it seems like african americans sell/use crack more often then the majority of other cultures Italians are stuck with the bookmaking/gambling disease

I'm half Italian and half Jewish, and I spend all day on a gambling board and looking for angles and action in sports, poker, and horses. Whenever I get money, I spend it.

Italians are ego maniacs and very competitive like the Greeks that is why ad like the big shot image gambling gives them and status it gives them.

My step father owns a Diner in Jersey ( shocking I know a Greek owning a diner), he has a bunch of regs. that always come in. Old school Italians and Greeks are so much alike, drink gamble even look alot alike, what they eat, etc. and both have hairy arms like mothafukkkin gorillas. ahaha
