Yea I think its a bad set up. If they win, they are in, if they lose, they are in. You tend to play tight when playing against that backdrop. But I respect the heck out of their coach and I don't put a ton of stock in that angle. I do like Geogia and 2 TDs here. If and its a huge if, if Georgia can get the defense off the field and stay out of those long exhausting LSU drives then they can win this game. They have the right mix of offense and defense imo.

lsu is 94th in the country in passing.. like i said in my earlier post they also rush against horrible rushing defenses all year. They were only tested once with a good rush defense and they didnt do well

There is a huge difference between the inability to pass, opposed to not calling numerous passing plays. As far as competition levels, I'll say this. LSU scoring is 458 to 127 in their games; GA is 408 to 213, you guys can do the math.

And the team they "didn't do too well against", is a pretty damn good team. What is your opinion on how any other top team playing them would fare?

The two halfway legit teams GA played, they lost. I know the comeback will be, "we are playing better". Yes, but so is LSU.

FYI; I think GA is a solid team, I'm just looking at the game from a "betting your hard earned money" on a game. From that standpoint, taking GA in this particular game isn't a solid play. In addition to stats, at some point you trust your eyes.

I'm not a big college football guy, but I watched the Georgia QB last week and he looked impressive, although Georgia Techs D sux. I watched LSU too and that QB Jefferson is not the best decision maker. If Georgia could force him into some bad throws and LSU goes to the other QB, that could bode well for Georgia. Not that this matters, but Oklahoma State lost as a 4 TD favorite, Oklahoma lost to Texas Tech. It could happen,,,,,

They'll never score again. Likely their starting QB will go down on the third drive and the backup will come in. LSU will proceed to put up 41 unanswered for a final of 41-7

LSU is in the championship game regardless if they were to win or lose but that won't apply here. They will not roll over on this game bc they want to keep the momentum going and keep their undefeated status.

-14 is a gift and people should jump on it.

BUT, in the back of their minds, will the LSU players be thinking that even if they lose, they play 'Bama for the BCS Championship? Looking ahead, either way?
LSU gets down 10 points, then rally to barely win the game just to make sure?
GA is a well balanced team, good "D" with some future NFL beef, they can pocket pass NFL style, some big WR's, a good RB, I'm a little worried about pass protection if they get behind, though.
A much better balanced team than ARK, they were smallish on "D", got pushed around. Not GA.
LSU cannot really throw, they are a run first scramble-throw team, GA "D" is pretty decent.
LSU coach due to make some stupid mistakes, enough for GA to cover.
I lean to GA + 13.5.
