    Giants under 9 W's-$3,000
Hey everybody at SBR. Just wanted your take on this situation. Typically at the beginning of football season I re-load my account with like $500-$1000. More often then not I usually lose it due to poor money management skills/having no discipline. This year I have more cash on hand then usual heading into football season from working alot of hours this summer and have desiganted $3,000 I can put aside for gambling.
Instead of the usual slowly getting drained of my money or making a stupid all-in move on a "lock" I'm thinking of going with a strong gut feeling on the Giants under 9 Wins with all my money. I am indifferent to the Giants so this isn't an emotional pick but just think they will be terrible this year for a number of reasons: pressure of getting everybody's best, Strahan retirement, Plax contract issues, Shockey gone, resting on their laurels, tough division, no good back-up QB, etc.
Anyway two part question here for everyone.

    1) You like the Giants under 9 this year?

    and more importantly....

    2) What books to sign-up with? I have TheGreek, Bodog, and VIP. I'm on this site enough to know at this point the only reliable book I have is TheGreek and their limit on the bet is $750. I will add BetJamaica but I'm sure their limit is at most $750 if not less. What other books can I trust to not get into any trouble or screw me over before this cashes (knock on wood). (sidenote: U.S. player here). I could probably get some decent bonus's since I will be depositing for the first time and I will use that money for small bets for the year. Reliability of book is more important then bonus though to me.

I figure having this $3,000 bet to think about each Sunday will be enough pressure/stress that I won't really have to bet each weeks lines as I will probably feel as if I have $3,000 against the Giants moneyline each week.

    Thanks for any input.

By the way I should include the Giants under 9 is -150 so it's 3,000 to win 2,000.

Yeah. there is all that stuff to bet on but if I turn $3,000 into $5,000 in 4 months I'll be content. Plus I can play around with the bonus money a little maybe and extra few hundred cash I could put on every couple weeks if I get bored or to do some good spot betting. I figure each week I'll have money against the Giants to look forward to and that should be entertaining enough to keep my degenerate self happy.

You realize by taking this bet your doing your "all-in" lock method with the first bet your making this season which you have told me doesn't work. So why do it again?

Don't do it man.. I do think you are probably right, but why not just go 500 on it instead of the entire bankroll? have fun and pick your choices selectively throughout the season and maybe you can come out on the winning end.

The all in bet would be foolish, imo

I think taking the broncos over 8 might be the better choice. Mike Shanahan has never had two consecutive seasons without a playoff berth, plus he vowed that the broncos will make it in this year.

take the Wahington Huskies for 3k, then put 3k on your total and use the rest for betting
