i've tried to play 2h's to "middle" and failed over and over but it's not really a standard middle....you're basically risking potential winnings if you feel great about your game play....a middle to me is getting two different lines before the game so you're only risking juice

gotta look at 2h as a completely separate bet IMO

i've tried to play 2h's to "middle" and failed over and over but it's not really a standard middle....you're basically risking potential winnings if you feel great about your game play....a middle to me is getting two different lines before the game so you're only risking juice

I know he did, but it was a total bullshit cover and he made sure to point out that was his "advice" right after the game ended -- like Bama covered the 2H easily or something.

Yeah when you see things like that, or even when I'm grading NFL/NCAA props in the sportsbook, you realise what sort of brainiac juggernaut you're trying to beat when you place a bet. So many plays decided by the hook and props falling exactly on the line. The suspicious part of my nature used to think there might be something fishy going on in games but I think it's impossible for that to be the case in so many games across different sports. Books are just too smart and have too many tools at their disposal. I know a few people were complaining because 5Dimes dropped a lot of its NFL props but I think they're actually doing most of us a favour.

I'm not big on these except when I have a big dog that is up or even at half.....seems like the big favs wake up at halftime and blow past the halftime line.....trick is to jump on em right when 2h line comes out so you have a bigger range to scoop both bets

He was on the right side of both the game and 2H bets. Period. Had he middled and hit, it would've been a total fluke. I'd love to see your % for midding these games, because typically it's a chase/sucker bet for those who hit the panic button after taking a big fave for the game.
