Leinart suffered what could be a season-ending injury to his left collarbone — the same one that he broke in 2007, his second season with Arizona. Rookie quarterback T.J. Yates, the fifth-round pick from North Carolina, played the entire second half. He’ll start the last five games, with Kellen Clemens as the backup, if Leinart is out for the season, as expected.

Local news just reported the injury as a broken collarbone. Sucks as houstonians were excited for this year so far till two weeks ago. Our season went from spectacular to straight in the crapper!

I think Jeff Garcia is the answer here. Can take care of the ball and fits the offense well because he's accurate on short passes/screens with a quick release.

Probably will be Garcia, the Texans had him working out for them last week. He just needs to be a game manager. Hand the ball off 50 times a game.

Your probably right. Hope their running game can deal with it. Andre Johnson is going to get very few touches unfortunately.

Yates looked decent today. It would be cool to bring on Favre for the rest of the season though, just for the circus that would ensue.

Would be cool if Yates becomes the next Tom Brady. Late round draft pick coming in a dire situation with a lot of confidence, but little fanfare.

No reason to believe Yates isn't as good or better than Leinart (not including keg stands)
