jj your love for Barkley inspired me to drop the hammer last night
Same here. I think Barkley deserves it and I hate USC too. I don't feel sorry for the guy though, probably gets any girl he wants there in So Cal, free education, and future NFL QB but he really deserves to win the heisman.
Andrew Luck and Stanford had not beaten a ranked team all season until they beat #22 Notre Dame on Saturday. Luck's biggest game of the season a home game vs Oregon was his worst game of the season.
Trent Richardson- biggest game of the season vs LSU failed to score a TD.
Case Keenum and Robert Griffin the 3rd are both more deserving than Luck and Richardson.

Luck is throwing to pedestrian wide outs and tight ends hes winning at stanford the talent level as whole isnt top notch.... Barkley is a stud but hes got a first round guy on oline and probably a few other pro oline men sick stable of running backs and elite wrs ... andrew luck is the most outstanding player imo barkley will win it next year... Case keenum has as much chance as winning the heisman as i do hope he enjoys his trip to nyc though good for him.

JJ - I have to agree you are dead on. I never even considered it until you pointed it out. It sure as hell isn't Lane Kiffin's coaching...

Barkley even has me considering staying an extra year if he stays.
USC can be extremely deadly next year if he stays. Barkley+Woods+Lee=Record breaking trio. Defensively well be fine, returning alot of starters and most importanly. We reloaded at the LB position. 3 starting freshmen. Could possibly be just as good as the last trio we had; Matthews, Cushing and maualuga.

He can go now maybe be 2nd qb taken or stay be big man on campus win the heisman have a hell of chance to be pac 12 champs if barkley comes back kalil comes back to Trojans are a top 5 team next year. Barkley is coming back he'll make more money as first overall next year. To be honest I wouldnt leave if I was him college life at usc is awesome for big man on campus like barkley must be real nice... Not like him or his family need the money.

yea we are. Only thing is, still have reductions of scholarships. But we should be fine. We got 2 great recruiting classes these two years with Kiffin and the first year we had alot of freshmen redshirt. The only really big bust was Baxter. Our team is loaded with underclassmen and we finished in the top 10 this year.

Coach......come out to SoCal next season and I'll take you to an SC game (season seats......on the 30). We'll tailgate, talk shop, and you can bang some college girls in the bushes.

he got beat by stanford and on top of that, they are loaded with talent. Kind of like matt lienart. Also if you look at his schedule early, they played alot of pussy teams and he has had some bad games

Why does "loaded with talent" work as a negative against Barkley? Does Trent Richardson not run behind a great offensive line?
Did Mark Ingram run behind a line that was loaded? Did Sam Bradford have any talent around him at RB, WR and on the O-line?

At the very least......they would keep it close. Defense is flying to the ball and the offense far beyond what the SEC has dealt with this season (save the Oregon/LSU bullshit, the Oregon offense is NOT a passing offense that can also gash you with the run).

Case Keenum should get the Heisman. He has been consistently been the most dominating player in every game he has played. Houston is so outrageous that he doesn't even play in the 4rth quarters of most games... I like Barkley as my #2
