Agreed, durito. But when first starting, it is extremely rare to come out of the gate and make profit on a consistent basis. The rookie bettor just hasnt learned the ropes yet. It can be extremely brutual. Pretty much the same as learning poker. You're gonna lose money before you get better.

Right on man. I just got started this last BCS title game, BetUs had been sending me mailers and i heard the spread was only 3.5 and thought it was easy money. Deposited a bill and put all of that and all the bonus they gave me on LSU. If i woulda lost i probably would have never placed another wager

For me, it was winning a football square that my buddy got me in for a SuperBowl pot. I hit 250 and thought it was a huge amount of money. The guy running the pot was a local that my friend went through and next thing i know I'm laying 50 cents/one game per week. Pretty soon, I'm calling in all the time. And that was that. Had I not hit that football pot, I would probably not be sitting here with you find gents today.

I met this gentleman in an Irish pub, they guy was handsome, well dress I'm talking Armani suits with diamond watches, real classy guy. At the time I was a street rat just making it from day to day. This gentleman was a big timer in London in the '70s, had done all sorts of rackets and had some experiences booking. He use to book the American base's action in Germany in the early '80s in Stuttgart and Kaiserslautern, operating form west to east Deutschland.

He took a group of us, and gave us education, no drugs no alcohol, alot of psycological stuff, he got his military buddies to train us for psysical activity. Completely took us under his wings, to run with him.
