Not saying this will make money but ive been wanting to research how NBA underdawg ML's turn out that are 3 points or less.*

Not many Games end in a decision less than 3 points unless the shot is a game winner. >5% id say. Given this fact in hoops taking anything less than +3.5 is pointless vs taking the ML. I want to see how these ML's have faired over the past 3 seasons.*

Covers has the lines and scores for past seasons. Small home dogs might be worth looking into.

NBA ML large faves usually have too much juice to be profitable. Too many upsets. Like Cleveland beating L.A. last year.

This thread got off topic, the answer to the original question is YES, betting only money lines can be profitable if you are making +EV bets, just like everything else. However, you would also be leaving money on the table by not exploring other types of bets.

I make good money picking my spots on NFL ML dogs. It's all about value. Best value this weekend is Buffalo +400. A very winnable game for the Bills. Their ML should be at +225 or so.
