They just said that Washington DC looks like a murder capital compared to Medellin. Before they had like 500 homicides a month in Medellin now only 30. Thats a big percentage drop.

I know. I live in Medellin.

The murder rate here is now 25 per 100,000 people. That's about half Washington DC's and 1/3 of New Orleans.

They were talking about that when Escobar was running sht you wouldn't even go outside. I don't know much about Escobar except that he was a drug dealer, but this guy was the definition of a BIG timer.

He was big but that was in the 80s early 90s, big cities now a days are very protected, no different then any other major metro area. The guerrilla is isolated to rural areas.
