As a Bears fan, **** Orton.

He is slower and less mobile than Hanie and has a worse arm.

Absolutely no reason to go for Orton.

And he might just start right away for KC. Funny too, with the Chiefs he'll get to face both Denver and Chicago (plus Pitts, GB, Jets)....this could be a tough spot for Orton.

Hopefully for the Bears they weren't just sitting around waiting for Orton. They need to bring someone in, like yesterday. My guess is Josh McCown. But I'd kinda like to see Jeff Garcia on the sidelines.

Sounds like the Beard did sign Josh McCown.

Dont really see how McCown is really an upgrade over Hanie, at least Hanie knows the offense.

McCown will backup Hanie. McCown should be an "upgrade" for next man up over Nathan Enderle.

My only concern is, will he play this weekend against Pittsburgh and if so how will it change the spread.
